Get a Hilux, a 90's one.

I once drove my Hilux from Kalmune to Kurunegala ( more than 300km ) without an alternator.

I bet no Benz could do the same.

So,

If you want to go anywhere, get a Benz
If you want to go anywhere, and come home, get a Hilux

I replaced it. cost me 25000 for a reconditioned alternator.


the problem was over-heating
excessive mud had gone into the alternator
reckless offroading
my faullt
