Another american tuning company has tried to modify a Subaru Impreza WRX. Perrin Performance tried to bring a lot of modifications to a WRX, from engine modifications, suspensions and exterior styling. The first step in their tuning process was installing a new, high performance exhaust system. Next, they’ve modified the engine cooling unit and now the car’s engine could develop 385 HP and a maximum torque of 540 Nm.
The tuning process continued by installing new suspensions from H&R. As for exterior changes, the guys from Perrin added new elements at the car’s body kit. The front and rear bumper are wider and more solid now and those 17″ rims from Konig equipped with 245mm Yokohama Advan Neova tires match the car’s design perfectly.
This Subaru Impreza STi was revealed at Tokyo Auto Show. Subaru Impreza is always a good car for tuning and the guys from ChargeSpeed made a great project from this STi. They’ve created a new impressive body kit with a lot of elements made from carbon and glass fiber.
New front bumper, rear bumper, spoiler, side skirts, new hood, and a great design for the roof. The new body kit makes this STi more agressive and it surely improves a lot the car’s aerodynamics. Also, they’ve installed new rims for this car, and the old Subaru Impreza STi looks now like an awesome race car. We don’t have any details if they’ve made any modifications at the interior or any performance modifications but this car surely looks great from the outside.
The new and already popular Audi e-tron Spyder made a special appearance at the 2011 LA Auto Show. This unique sports car is hoping to be on the production line come 2014, and should feature a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 diesel powerplant with two electric motors. Performance numbers are reported from Audi in the range of 385 horsepower with 739 lb-ft of torque. At the track, a 0 to 60 mph of time will be accomplished in just 4.2 seconds, while the top speed has been limited from the factory at 155 mph. However, what really sets this hybrid apart from the rest is the fuel efficiency.
Besides the great styling with sharp lines, the most amazing detail about the Audi e-tron Spyder is that the gas and electric combinations should be good for 106.92 miles per gallon. Any car that pushes over 100 MPG will be the hottest on the market come 2014, yet Audi needs to work on the price right now, because $2.7 million USD for a small sport car seems a bit steep.
