DMC Lamborghini Gallardo for the ski slopes

Professional freeskier and alpine ski racer Jon Olson had his latest Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 customized for the ski slopes by DMC. Most skiers would never choose an exotic sports car for these conditions, but Jon thinks different. At first he did this with a Lamborghini Murcielago LP670 Superveloce holding a ski-box on top, however once the new Aventador was released, he sold that Murci and jumped on the waiting list.

The 29-year old Swedish ski pro decided to pick up this Lamborghini Gallardo for a temporary replacement until the Aventador comes in. Once that happens, he will again most likely turn it into a ski transporter. We can tell he likes speed since he buys some of the fastest cars in production, and then continues to fly when he on the mountain. After the custom made ski box was ordered that is approved for speeds up to 255 km/h or 159 mph, his new Gallardo was shipped to DMC for some styling modifications including a new camouflage car wrap.

    SchwabenFolia Wiesmann MF5 V10 Roadster

SchwabenFolia is a new tuning company jumping onto the scene with their custom Wiesmann MF5 V10 Roadster called the Black Bat. It is an impressive tuning project featuring several styling improvements and performance upgrades. The Wiesmann MF5 comes powered by BMW’s performance engine of the year, the S85B50. It is a 5.0-liter V10 producing 507PS and 520Nm of torque at its optimal rpm levels. While the powerplant has it all, the exterior received a matte black foil wrap and modifications for a more aggressive look.

While the appearance of this car screams unique, the performance is just as impressive. At the track, the Black Bat Wiesmann MF5 V10 Roadster can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds while reaching 200 km/h in less than 10 seconds. The top speed was recorded at over 321 km/h or 200 mph! This was expected from such a lightweight sports car weighing in at only 1,395 kg. For the handling, the SchwabenFolia Black Bat rides on 20×10 BBS forged alloy wheels up front, and 20×11.5 rims at the rear. Completing the performance package for the Wiesmann MF5 is a Brembo brake kit featuring 6-piston calipers in the front, 4-piston calipers out back, and perforated compound brake discs all around.
