VERY IMPORTANT WARNING

Please Be Extremely Careful especially
if using internet mail such as

Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL and so on. This information arrived this morning

direct from both Microsoft and Norton.

Please send it to everybody you know who has access to the
Internet.

You may receive an apparently harmless email with a P power
Point

presentation 'Life is beautiful.'

If you receive it DO
NOT OPEN THE FILE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
,

and delete it immediately. If you open this
file, a message will appear on

your screen saying: 'It is too late now, your life is no longer beautiful.'

Subsequently you will LOSE
EVERYTHING IN YOUR PC and
the

person who sent it to you will gain access to your name, e-mail and password.

This is a new virus which started to circulate
on Saturday afternoon.

AOL has already confirmed the severity, and the antivirus software's are

not capable of destroying it. The virus has been created by
a hacker who

calls himself 'life owner.'

Pass it on immediately!

Oya virus kiyana tharam case na.
Api ithin SL buwalane. any attack, we have the SW CD's with us to recover instantly.
The real problem is with the data.
If you keep it in a separate Drive, no harm done.
    ;)
Use something like Acronis True Image if you guys are so scared about viruses.
We deal with the buggers all the time. Our Univ net is full of all sorts of stuff.
I had to clean some manually till NOD got the definitions. They aren't as tough as they say.

Yup buddy... U did a good job to the family :D :D :D

But next time just check on Symantec or on McAfee databases whether the virus is a tru one or a false one...

Most of the time people forward those kinds of hoaxes with embedded malicious code parts in the header of the e-mail. So the receiver also will get infected.

Some people forward those kinda mails to get rid of the network bandwidth of particular organisations.

Some people circulate those kinda mails to earn money.

So becareful when you forward a HOAX Virus alerting mail machang. :D

Best thing to do is just check on Symantec DBs and then on McAfee DBs and if they are saying it is a hoax alert, then delete the mail as soon as possible. :)

BTW, u did a good job by trying to alert all the members about it :)
