VGA Error...

    I had a Nvidia 8500 GT 1G DDR2 VGA earlier...

    I did a clean install but the same issue..

    What were you playing when you got the error?...

    I still say the psu is enough 22A on 12v rail is descent but NOT recommended....you need at least 40A on the 12v rail but this is considering the whole system not just the VGA as some of us have mistaken as it is....

    Considering of buying a PSU?.....do some research on GTX 200 series recommendations.. I'll give you a link to start...

    Read that...200 series are buggers.. I know cause I own 2..:P....had to go through hell to get mine working

    Check slmega.com for a good PSU...I'd say a 550 with a good brand on it would do..:)


    What are you system specs?...Processor MB etc etc.....

    + forceware 196 that you are using are proven to be unstable at most cases...try a previous version such as 190.38...or 191..

    remember to uninstall a previous driver when trying a new one...

    and the most important fact.. Googling your problem always helps...:)
