Here's the SuperPI Benchmark....

It seems only one Core is allocated for the guest OS, just like MS Virtual PC. VMWare Workstation on the other hand allows multiple cores to be assigned for guest OS. But it's slow as hell...takes a long time to load too...

Thanks machang... any idea about the difference in SuperPi times when running natively...?
8MB sucks no...

Almost no difference....maybe slightly slower, but that's acceptable...

If there was a way to port the graphics card just as the CPU, then we could play games in a virtual pc. Amazing... it would be..

You probably haven't seen the performance of Parallels Virtual Machine. I'm using Parallels Workstation. You can allocate your entire CPU power and RAM to the guest OS making it ultra smooth. It's really fast here on my machine. I haven't tested whether it could run vista or not but it should. I haven't used Virtualbox nor VMware but have used MC virtual machine 2007 and that sucks I tell you

There is a Mac version of Parallels that can run games. But they haven't released a PC version yet. :(

Parallels 3 for OSX and VMWare Fusion supports DX8.1 gaming. That's Unreal2003 or 2004 (not sure on the latter)...

Both Parallels 3.0 and VMWare Fusion support DX8.1 acceleration. You can play UT2003 I suppose :) But both are for OSX. Why would you need gaming in a virtual PC when the host is already a Windos platform :D

(Ooops...I thought the previous post didn't get POSTED :D)

i was thinking can we install mac os ?
Not in VirtualBox. It is possible to install in VMWare depending on the CPU you have and how lucky you are...But even if you get it to work, it will work super slow because there aren't any virtual machine additions to it.
