Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo recorded the best performance at the 2012, G C E Advanced Level Examination in the Science and Maths streams according to the Performance Index released by the Research and Development Branch of the Examinations Department.
Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo came second, while Royal College, Colombo and Rathnavali Balika Vidyalaya, Gampaha came third.
The first, second and third places in the Commerce and Arts streams were taken by Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Rathnawali Balika Vidyalaya and Visakha Vidyalaya.
