If I use Mac or Linux 100% I could do It. Even Surfing on Internet your PC could infected by Malware.

My point is that if you don’t run antivirus software, you are unlikely to know whether or not you do have a virus or malicious code running on your machine. You may be infected and totally oblivious to the fact.

Thats why we want Good AV software, After AV Makers got sample of Virus they do make signature for It then that Virus will Automaticily Blocked and Cleand by AV Software. How ever we use PC, If virus is In database AV Software must do It. Only on that in between time you are unprotected.

You think just because you are running a virus guard your PC is more secure than mine?

If you can block the ways that viruses can infect your PC, then why do you need a virus guard?

Just don't browse crack sites, don't download rapidshare crap, don't download software through public torrent sites, don't plug flash drives (or at least first trust yourself that you won't do anything stupid that would make it install viruses - I trust myself to use it safetly, but don't let anyone else plug ot browse a flash drive) and stay away from porn

Anyway I heard Norton 2009 is good, and has dramatic improvements from earlier versions including the everybody's concern about their high memory usage, if what I heard is true, the new Norton actually runs on less memory than Kaspersky! :/
