You can't hide, they'll smoke you out
, they'll flank you, they hear you.... and among other features the weapons sound and feel as they should be... the SLOW MO is awesome and the whole thing is CREEPY too! I dearly hope that if the game could be a notch up with graphics in the NEXT version.. then... SUPERB!!Also AI was quite good in the 1st Half-Life too.. considering it was developed in the mid 90's

There was a time I didn't like them either.. You can take a different approach.. read the story first.. and follow the story.. that will keep you in it!! (if the story is good enough it might just give you that kick start

Best game i have ever played is half life 1.
It had a fun factor for me 100% way back in 2000.
Graphics wise it was in Crysis caliber considering game was out not in 2007 but in 1999.
HL2 also good.
