I played Stalker Clear Sky for 3 hours now. It has a great day night cycle. At night environment is supper realistic and beautiful. Quests are entertaining. At day time far view is enchanting. NPC artificial intelligence is much improved compared with first stalker.(this is the 1.5 version of Clear Sky I am talking about ,not the 1st version which was utterly buggy).But there is one problem. Game is so difficult. So I used a trainer which gives me unlimited ammo. I am not using the god mode. Because it reduces the fun of killing a enemy NPC and surviving.
For me this game is far better than Far Cry 2.Far Cry 2 is brownish and AI is so poor. And I hate Africa. In Far Cry 2 you finished this, then you go to another place. That’s it.
Far cry 2 is rated extremely high. Metacritic score is 86.I don’t know how.But user rating is so poor.
Clear Sky rated average in Metacritic which is 76.This is indeed due to the buggy ness of 1st version. No any major site rated the game for 1.5 version. If they do so I am sure it will be high 80s.

Here is the patch note.(Guys thats why i always saying go for ATI. until windows 7 appears)

Added DX10.1 support.
· Added MSAA for alpha-tested objects ("alpha-to-coverage" for DX10.0, custom "alpha-to-coverage" for DX10.1 for better performance, native DX10.1 implementation for better quality).
· Added new quality level for sun-shadows (ultra) for better picture quality.
· Added new min/max shadowmap technique (which takes advantage of DX10.1 when available) allows to speed up high quality sunshafts rendering for top video boards and high resolutions.
· Added high quality sunshafts acceleration for DX9 renderer.
