I was a hardcore WMA user for several years since WMA 7.1 codec came to existance. (CD Quality at 64kbps ;)). But I recently moved to mp3 because iTunes doesn't support WMA and iTunes is what I use to organize my music library.

Also mp3 is supported by every player out there. It gets some valuable point for the compatibility.

WMA gives better compression. (I mean, better quality at the same bitrate of mp3)
But for sm reason i prefer MP3 and OGG :D

m8 b coz smtym bak i ripped a cd thru WMP, jst to try WMA and i have set DRM for those tracks, latr whn i had to format the pc, i cudnt play those tracks, frm thn i gave up WMA :D

Btw try OGG and eAAC+ for compression/quality
