So here is my idea. Buddha says that thinking there is a self is an illusion, in fact there is no self. So if we say that someone dies and reborns, that means there is an identity between those too people, hence a self. Therefore it is exactly not the same person that is reborn. Yet there must be a connection or else why it is said reincarnation(Punarbhawa in pali). So it can be assumed that there is something cling to our physical body that will travel beyond death, I think this should be some sort of a quantum. Energy levels can vary depending on the actions. However to think that the same person is born is an Illusion, only there is a connection. Buddha has said nothing is permanent, in fact we change everyday. Well that is sort of a sort version of what I understand. I'm also not clear about this By the way. Yes it is related to reincarnation definition, but not exactly that.Now the important thing is not the concept, The point I brought was reincarnation and karma are just two concepts in buddhism, there are lot of other things..just implying the concepts are deep. Don't take it too hard. Doesn't mean that anyone can't study it and try to understand. I'm also trying.Buddhists have no intention of spreading their religion.
