1. BTU capacity of the AC - this depends on the area you need to cover
2. power saving - best option is inverters
3. Gas being used - in globally CFC is banned, HCFC is more suitable as it can take more pressure and eco friendlier than CFC/R22
4. brand does not really matter - as long as warranty covers the compressor for more years with maintenance
