Of course it is not a bad thing to welcome people. But he's not welcoming the latest newcomers  Instead he's welcoming a little older newcomers. (I don't know how to put it in another way. I hope you understood what I meant by that.)

Yeah Yeah! Lets Tell Him To Welcome Newcommers Only Once;)

I thought you didn't need a virus guard for Linux. That screws up the last reason to go for Linux :D:D:D

i m usin Kaspersky on vista
    on XP Pc Cillin
    Pc-Cillin is gud

I use NOD32, or nothing on Vista as well as XP. I can live without a virus guard in XP, but when other people plug their flash drive, I don't want to get any viruses they have.

ESET s & Norton s reliability ve been doubted by a certain virus which is detected by other anti-virus software but these.. but anyways.. this is a seldom event as ESETs database is constantly updated n am sure as of now there would be a patch which would fix dis prob...

You know, there could be false positives. One virus guard could wrongfully identify a harmless executable file as a virus, if the heuristics engine is not powerful.
