i have heard more about STF than commando.. its a littel complicated to compare them..

there are many so-called "best regiments"

the selection of Best not only depend on the training and oparetional capacity, But on the "BATTLE EXPERIENCE" as well..

yes..Special forces and Commandos in SLA are among the best. And there are some Gamunu, Vijayaba and Gajaba , Mechanised regiment's -specialized units- as well..

some of these units were engadged in many battle fronts. Did Heroic sacrifices...

But a special unit

Like the navy SBS..

When we define the structural name "regiment", it means an Army Body...
