Even then, the latest version of iTunes is really slow. Maybe he's using and older version.

To be honest, I'm listening to music through iTunes right now! I just downloaded some new songs, and I organize my music using iTunes, and I didn't bother to close it. That's why I'm using it right now. But, it can't beat the speed of WMP.

But, it's music management features are perfect! If your music are tagged properly, you only have tp drag them onto iTunes, and it will move the files to your default music folder (it creates a folder with the name of the artist, then create a subfolder with the album name and then copies the files to the corresponding subfolders). This is really nice! But you have to have your music tagged properly for it to work.

WinRAR iz da best they gives free updates...
WinRAR can Extract RAR, ZIP CAB, ARJ, LZH, TAR, GZIP, ACE, UUE, BZIP2, JAR, ISO, Z, 7-ZIP and other MIME-types
But WinZip can Extract only RAR, ZIP, CAB, TAR, GZIP, UUE, JAR, Z

Also WinRAR support both Zip and Rar Compress......

Feature wise WinRAR is superior. But I only use RAR and ZIP formats, so both WinRAR and WinZIP will do fine for me. And out of them also, I use it more for decompressing (downloads ;) ). I just need the fastest decompressor. But I think it all comes down to the hard drive performance when decompressing (unless you have thousands if tiny winy files in the archive)

I think Winrar and Winzip all are the same, other than their formats, so its a must to have em both. I have software to handle zip and rar even in my phone

In a review I saw about a year or so ago, WinRAR performed much faster than WinZIP. I wonder if it has changed with the last two released of WinZIP (they released them quickly)

compact size is amust, but time not a must

Why does size matter anymore? We have passed the 20MB HDD sizes
Time is always my priority. Not that I don't like smaller appz. Besides, I think larger the program, slower it gets. So programs that work fast will be small after all.
