What optical drives do you have?

I have a Sony DRU-810A crossflashed to a Benq DW1640 in my current PC.

In my old PC, which my dad currently uses, I have:
1. Gigabyte GO-W1608A crossflashed to a Liteon SOHW-1653S
2. Benq 48x12x48x CDRW (can't remember the model)

What DVDR/RW discs do you use?

Seems like most people have DVDRW drives these days. Anyway, there's no point buying even a combo drive because DVDRW drives are very cheap.

of cource it is. And since AZUZ drives are slower than others it takes like hell to write to a DVD. But on the ohter hand. It always writes the stuff properly

Anyway, can you do me a favour? If you have burned any Sony discs, can you show me a quality scan of one? You can use Nero CD Speed to do that. Since Sony doesn't support the real quality scanning thing, you can use the Transfer test and show us the final graph output.

You mean Asus?
Asus doesn't make any optical drives as far as I know.

sony i only trust thr dvd's nt burners

i wish yamaha went onto make dvd burners .... i gt da best cd burner thy produced and i thnk its da best one dat ny one produced

You mean, he only got the drive itself? No manual, no CD, no 2nd bezzel etc.?
