1GB is ok for a lap! cause i'll always have my desktop to do the hard work! I just want a portable LCD where i can read ebooks without making my eyes feel like inside out! + entertainment too (movies, not games... )

Do you run a server? Can you afford the ECC RAM? Do you think you can find them (easily) in Sri Lanka? Xeons are not for us. A similar C2D will give you the same performance at a lower cost of CPU as well as infrastructure.
