Where to buy stamps?

Yesterday I took my stamp album to have a look at it after years, and i got a sudden interest in it again
There was a person selling African stamps for LKR10 near our school about 12 years ago. Don't know he still comes there but;

Do you people know places to buy stamps (cheap --- not the professional ones) ...?
