Rocky (1976)

Honestly I have no idea what people see in this film
My Ratings 6.0

I have tried few of so called "Old the Gold" movies with high ratings and
ended up disappointed. Except for some like "12 Angry Men" or maybe
"To Kill a Mockingbird"

I am still now grown up. Or never will be.

Speaking of Rocky, It was written by Sylvester himself. When he brought
script to producers they offered a lumpful sum for the story and wouldn't
employ Sylvester as the main character. Obviously... even today he look like
a muscle with kids face.

Sylvester knowing full well that this story is his chance in lifetime for
Hollywood acting career, refused to sell it unless he is the actor. Despite
the fact that he had been living on the streets or bus halts for weeks.

And finally found someone willing, and made this film.

Many of his fanboys interpret this event as him not betraying his story. But
with the information I have right now, I guess its him being smart not to
miss the jackpot. Because he would never come up with something like this
again.

Even today the best he can do is "Expendables"

Million Dollar Baby, Warrior or even Rush are miles better than this... thing
called rocky.

old movies ? watch das boot, Apocalypse now, cross of iron , scarface god father 1,2 etc

Tomorrowland

Saw the premier at Savoy ladt night. Thanks E FM for the tickets.
Despite what the trailers show, the movie is comedy with some action and sci fi thrown in and its aimed pointedly at kids and adolescents. Extremely well produced.
The two main characters other than Clooney are annoying. hopefully by design but most likely that's how they come off.. especially the small one with the Brit accent.
Like Jupiter Ascending, this is a waste of great potential as well..
