ලොව හොඳම චිත්‍රපට ගොන්නට එකතු වූ මේ විශිෂ්ඨ චිත්‍රපටය ඔබ තවමත් නරඹා නැද්ද? බොහෝ දෙනෙක් නරඹා ඇති කියලා හිතනවා. වෙනස් චින්තනයක් ඇති ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨ මිනිසෙක් වටා ගෙතුනු සුන්දර චිත්‍රපටයක්. ඔහු නමින් Forrest Gump. සමාජය ඔහුව දකින්නේ මෝඩයෙකු ලෙසය. නමුත් චිත්‍රපටය අවසානයේ ඔහුද මෝඩයා අපිද මෝඩයා යන්න නිවැරදිව ඔබට වැටහෙනු නියතය. මනුෂ්‍යයෙකු වශයෙන් ජීවිතයේ ජයගතයුතු සෑම සංදිස්ථානයක්ම ඔහු සාර්ථක අයුරින් ජයගනු ලැබුවා. ඔහු නිදහස් මනසකින් යුතුව ලෝකය දැක්කා. ඔහු ලෝකය හා ජීවිතය දකින අන්දම මෙන්ම, ඔහුගේ හැගීම් අද්විතීයයි. අද වෙනතුරු අපේ ජිවිතයේදී, අප හරිහැටි සිදුකර ඇත්තේ මොනවාද යන්න, මෙය නරඹන අතරතුර මාහට හිතුන වාර එමටයි. වචන කිහිපයකට සීමා කරමින් චිත්‍රපටය ගැන කියාපාන්න බැරිතරමට මා අසරණ වූ චිත්‍රපටයක්. චිත්‍රපටයක් තුළ අඩංගු වියයුතු බොහොමයක් කරුණු මෙහි අන්තර්ගතව තිබුණා. චිත්‍රපටය අවසානයේදී, මෙම කතාව තවත් දිගුවුවානම් හොඳ යැයි සිතෙන්නට තරම් මෙය මට රසවත් වුවා....
