Black Panther
This is arguably the best MCU movie to date and Killmonger is the best MCU villain to date. Too bad that they killed him off and painted themselves back to the same corner of having no great villains.
Darkest Hour
This is almost a companion movie to Dunkirk since this tells the story of what lead to the events of Dunkirk.
Garry Oldman had better win the damn oscar for this performance.
Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri
This is a fantastic movie. All of the performances were great.
Frances McDormand deserves the oscar for best female lead and Sam Rockwell better win for best supporting actor.

This is a beautiful and moving drama of war time Japan, especially at Hiroshima to point of dropping the atomic bombs, its aftermath and the end of war, told from the viewpoint of a young Japanese woman who can draw beautifully and tends to space out. This spacing out tends to be used as a way to depict how most rural communities in Japan were so misinformed of the status of the war.
It can get gut wrenching at times as it does not shy away from the brutality of war, losing children to bombs, or parents exposed to atomic waste getting melted in front their children.

I, Tonya
Another great movie for Margot Robbie but not only her, the entire cast did great. Hard to imagine the Winter Soldier without his physique and with a southern accent but Sebastian Stan pulled it off so well. Allison Janney stole the show as the mother of Tonya.
