What the devil is a scene release ??those are P2P releases rite ? I was talking abt the scene releases. this movie still on scene no ? so 2 CDs
I assume by P2P you are referring to Peer to Peer.
pretty much my point as well. Longer movies, when ripped with decent bit rates goes over 1GB and they are released as a single file.actually .. movie AVI file size differs according to the duration of the movie .. not every dvdrip is 700mb .. only 1.5H movies are 700mb .. others can be encorded to 700mb alright .. but the quality surely loose( sorry for interfering ur argument )

hell yeah. Thats the problem those long movies can encoded to 1 CD but there is a huge quality loss which break the scene rules. therefore those movies comes as 2 CDs

Its a real pain convert and join 2 AVIs encoded in AC3 audio and re-encode to XVID with MP3 CBR so that I can play it on my DVD player.
All the movies I download, I re encode to XVID/MP3(cbr) so that I can play it on the DVD player.lol

Platoon is like an extension of FMJ imo it continues the core of GMJ and assigns it to more gritty screenpaly .. environment is same . in platoon there are two main figures(distinct) which the newly arrived soldier look up .. movie has got some disturbing scenes ,, well i like this more thn FMJ well it aint a big action war movie you will like it .. as Kos bro mentioned itz antiwar
