Yeah, i burnt the Movie to DVD9, Each Empty DVD9 costs 90 Rupee in Kurunegala Shopping complex... I Guess DVD9 are not SD, it`s 720 x 576 and bit Rate is extremely high.. Watching the DVD9 with Upscaling to 1080p is the coolest thing, my Home theater have upscaling feature and DVD9 looks like Real 1080p/1080i movie.. Also the player have HDMI outputs ports..
that damn player is unsupported on Converted 1080p files...

yeah some Retail DVDs are 576 but their scan type is not progressive always its interlaced which is sucks on 1080p progressive screens. yeah players can upscaled to HD, but upscaling SD isn't really looks good and we can't compare 9Mbps (DVD)& 50Mbps (BD) bitrates
lol no player doesn't support Encoded x264, it needs a faster grafix engine to play compressed x264 videos. download Xvid HD instead of x264, player supports XviD HD
yeah PS3 supports BD but XBOX360 doesn't play Blue ray disks AFAIK
