This is a TV movie. Pachino doing an emmy award winning job. Susan Surrandon and the rest of the main cast were equally good.

Its 2 hours & 25 min sinfully long film and first 1 and half hours allocated just to describe the background & build character development.

But unlike Hollywood films , the process is never boring

Teachings, rituals interpretation, action based on Chinese martial arts would fascinate a man for a life time

However this one is not the best example

but a good critically acclaimed movie unlike a blockbuster..

I watched signs bro..
sometime back..
bloody crazy as slow that one too...
but its such an amazing movie..
how he brings us to the insight of the characters...
that movie is not about an alien invasion..but more about the mental states of people in such a situation..
talking about signs...this is the movie that comes to my mind..

there's hardly any connection..
but this movie is a brilliant drama..
