That some people might have not seen the Expendables then.

Of coz I loved that movie. But the thing is with all this huge as plot and shitloads of CGI they haven't got much. Maybe that is the reason behind its being named as one of the worst

Sure, it's not good as movies like Matrix for me either. But still, I cannot see how they named it as #1 of that list. Maybe, they're dissapointed because it doesn't have thrilling action like in Matrix or V for Vendetta, which they may have expected from da same directors. Did they feel that bad?. Dat's my question. When I started to read from it's #10, I was thinking about Expendables & Battleship. I didn't want to talk about Battleship in dis thread. Probably, da worst movie watched in 2012, if I didn't forget anything else worse.

a triumphant movie about the legendary explorer Thor Heyerdal who went through 4300 miles crossing pacific on a raft to prove his theory that south africans settle in polynesia in pre-columbian time. this is more like norwegian version of life of pi :D CGI effects were very well done in par with hollywood movies.

This is why I told Battleship is bad.

I saw a campaign of promotion to encourage young people in US to join military. That amputee war veteran you see in the film, he's been a real life soldier who has lost both legs in Baghdad. & even with that situation he's willing to help defeat those aliens. & at the end, he's also credited. So, you sacrifice yourself on the battlefield will be recognized, so it doesn't matter even if you lost your life. & no matter how those aliens are advanced, you can defeat them as brave US soldiers with 50, 60 years old ship & a crew aged as dat.

What I'm trying to tell is, I have nothing against trying to boost morale of da people & soldiers. What concerned me is how US government acts. All day reading news & stuff, what they're doing around the world, invading other countries using excuses, sacrificing their young people for the evil & greedy causes of the politicians, with all dat in mind, when I saw da movie, it was kinda like government aided propaganda for me. That's why I dissapointed about dis movie.

Pretty good spy movie. While Renner is better at playing the villain, he does do a good job playing a character thats an anti-hero at best. Wonder why Rachelle Wize and Edward Norton took on their roles in this movie as they had virtually no room to showcase any talent..
The bike chase scene was too long and the whole ending of the movie seemed rushed but it does leave room for sequels.
