Dexter needed them when his faith in code is shaken. Other than that Its his father harry was the reason that Dexter didnt become like his brother.
Anyway non of this change the fact that she has been pain in the ass. And Im so glad if they got rid of her

Hope you've watched Juno, Superbad & Youth in Revolt.
I guess you'll enjoy them.
