Not necessarily Studio Ghibli movies. Movies of Isao Takahata in particular (Though there's no getting away from Studio Ghibli as he's the co head of the Ghibli ).

In fact its not surreal.3 story lines are real.U must have have cn it some time ago i guess.So I'm not going to describe its plot. It needs multiple viewings to understand.And I viewed multiple times certain segments of it. It beats Donnie drako artistically and complexional view point .
