Raaven - Re watched under DVDrip quality
    My ratings 90%

    Raavan_300.jpg

My ratings based on not merely the greatness of the movie but the importance as this movie given new/correct/deserved definition to the King Ravan who had been slandered and distorted by Ramayana as a womanizer

According to my understand background knowledge on true Sri lankan history and Ramayana would increase the entertainment and make much more sense on some scenes you wud experience thorough the movie

Ex :- Police try to drag Abishek's sis by her nose.
(due to the lack of knowledge this ws the only scene I caught up and there cud be more)

If you are patient and enough to read scattered facts on a thread here a link
What exactly we know about the Greatest king on this earth- King Sri Ravana

    Highly artistic movie
A.R Rahman music blender in to the theme good :)

    Directed by
    Mani Ratnam

Excellent movie! A movie about four people who worked in a tank at Lebanon war. In the whole movie you see inside the tank. This is very realistic and you can feel it when watching this. IMDb rating is 7.1 my rating is 10.
there's a similar movie named Beast of War
Its about a tank crew in the Afghan - Russian war.

Watched this mainly cause of Alicia Silverstone's pout.
Though Benico Del Toro and Christopher Walken does give a decent performance.

Yep you can put it in that way:yes:
    But in the other hand
contrary what Ramayana says Ravan is an environmentalist, scientist and a well disciplined King
And he kidnapped Sitha not bcz He loved her but to teach Rama a lesson of deprivation and teach how to treat a women with respect :)

Bcz Rama once cut the nose of a women(I cudnt remem her name) for standing against sacrificies animals/immolation
(Its a long story. Refer that thread if u have free time )

So Ravan kidnapped Sitha as a retaliation. But yet he treat Sitha well for the time being held
So if u watch carefully u can say movie resembles the true history of Ravan :)

My point is this movie may reveals the true nature of Rama and Ravan which is Ravan righteous than Rama :)
I rated this movies as 90% coz of the importance of the movie despite the fact thats damn boring

Absolutely the worst Superman movie ever!
This seems to have been made on a budget of a B movie! bad acting and worse special effects. Only saving grace is Gene Hackman's Lex Luther.

Letter from Iwo Jima - 7.5/10

Better than "Flags of our fathers"

"The story is basically the Japanese point of view of ''Flags of our Fathers''. While the latter had many scenes showing the glory of Americans, veterans returning home being greeted as heroes, and a tone of victory all over, ''Jima'' proves to be completely different. There is no glory for the Japanese, only pain. Veterans aren't greeted as heroes because they don't return home. There is no tone of victory, but a huge cloud of defeat. ''Jima'' is dark, resembling a black-and-white film, and it is one of the saddest movies of the year."
