May be you don't know there are 63,129 DUMBS in IMDB rated this movie 10/10.As i told u guys might be extraordinary or something like that.And i'm sad to say movies are not for that kind of men,but for usual common ppl like us.sorry to dissapointed you
And a advice,don't read any fucking reviews or details before watching the movie,that'll ruin ur PLOT

Ii saw u mention "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest ".. and that movie is miles better than "prestige "

you said you want your movies to be straight forward ..in reality prestige is pretty straight forward I don't see why you think it's abstract...the best thing ever happened to that movie was tesla

In the very Beginning danton(X men guy) doenst like to get his hand dirty even to crush pigeon right ?

But at the end he even become reckless to have his other magician friend hang

So my Q is that Danton is the same innocent Danton who is in the beginning or another cloned Danton ?


I had some other difficulties cant remem now

Its everything plus a straight plot.
There's no twist in that plot. The movie would've been really great if it didnt have the Tesla's cloning device angle. That just made it ludicrous.
It is a very well made move but it aint mind blowing or filled with plot twists.

It wasnt twisted as Memento for sure but it is

And Tesla's cloning part is the best for me

Batman begins and Insomnia is the worst and this one is the best

Actually Prestige has two twists with Angier and Borden.
Straight forward???Be honest with me,did u ever think that Borden had his own brother as Fallon until he reveal his secret?If yes,you are a extraordinary mando some PhD in mathematics or will have a good future as a script writer.

yeah ..i think its got good ratings ...been sometime since I saw it..really nice movie though.

it's full of brutal assignations four fifth of the full movie time, but the latter part is quite interesting. Within the first 10 – 20 minutes the reason for the revenge, badly abducted and assigned of mentally impaired brother by drug adductors, can be come across. Accent, not purely English, sounds typical northern uk’s with strong language is used.. which is very usual in northern parts.

Not my favorite detective type one but I really enjoyed it. Cheers

I don't really remember much about this movie anymore but I'll answer to my best.

It wouldn't matter even if it was the same danton or not...because that wrath that consumed him had transformed him from the man he was in the start of the movie. he went as far to be killing his own clones every day. you can't imagine the length people would go to, to seek revenge.

and this certainly is a very straight forward element of this movie...that's called character transformation.
