there's nothing wrong with being in comedies..even your tom hanks has been in number of comedies as a matter of fact mark wahlbergs better in this sorta characters...he was really funny in departed

Well i watched it cause one of my friends said the same thing.However for me the plot was tacky.There were a load of side events in the film that did not contribute to the main plot.And almost all the "bad guys" die with almost no fight.No prolonged gun fight just bang in the head and that's it.

thats what makes it so realistic.
Also a head shot doesnt result in prolonged gun fights. Shoot someone in the head and they usually end up dropping dead.

If you want prolonged gun fights, watch action movies or hindi movies.

Well when someone says crime drama I dont think realistic.Also thats my point i dont like to see de niro just walk upto a guy and shoot him in the head.I would like to see the guy duck shoot back and then get shot in the head.Now thats a action film.

Btw I think a zombie hindi movie type hero who can gets shot in the head and still shoot back would ruin the film dont you?

crime drama doesnt mean action movie. Its a drama with crime as the main theme. Also heat has noir elements as well.

Action movies has prolonged shootouts. Watch The Expendables or RED for that type of thing.
But isn't the zombie hero type what you're looking for here ?
