OIC. I thought both had the same clock speeds. Usually ATI cards do.

But it's not 1000. It's 500MHz (you are talking about the core clock speed, right?)

Hey I can Some one help coz i cant overclock my GeForce 7100 .... when i do it via the Nvidia control panel they say that the current system configuration cant handle these speeds.. lower the frequencies and try again... this happens even when i increase the speed by 1MHz??

Maybe you should try something else. There is a tool called ATITool. The latest ones supports nVidia cards as well. There is a tool that automatically tested the maximum stable clock speeds for the core and the memory. Try it and see. Maybe you'll have much luck with it.

So 500/800 is stable! I'll keep it at that or around 495/780.
