Dude, there is no 100% king of cards, but 4870X2 comes close to the king. Sometimes the GTX280 beats it, but most of the times 4870X2 wins, earning it the crown.

i didn't ask to compare a lap with a SAME PRIZED pc , i wanted to compare with a pc with SAME PERFORMANCE

You will be, but they won't perform very well. Maybe about 75-80% performance of the same model desktop card (the clock speeds are lowered to save power; that's why they don't perform as fast as the corresponding desktop card)

aah that means buying a laptop isn't worth the money, i guess bt what to do? cant go to a desktop again

with in 3 months New geforce directx 10.1 card will be the king.
It ll get beaten by ATI code name 800 card afterwords.

But it is good that ATI is kicking ass, because they really needed that after the R600 failure. Excitedly waiting for the nextgen nVidia cards though, but imo the current performance/enthusiast cards are so fast that there is no need for an upgrade for 3 years unless you have a 30" display and wanna run the next gen games at native resolution of 4MPixels.
