1) Sf was sitting on his fat ash...until the attempt on his life.....
2) SF did not do this alone...and no matter what was said back then for moral...or maybe MR's blatant attempt to distance himself if the war had failed....SF was not the ONLY reason we won....a 25+ year war is above one man to solve....
3) HE was a good general...warrior wise i don't think so...a warrior has honor...a warrior would not be silent for this long and not even thank the soldier who gave his life saving a hapless general.....i bet that bad karma is why Sf is suffering now....

It has been 22 days since the illegal arrest of General Fonseka and the government is yet to come up with an official charge. However, surprisingly, they have come up with a verdict according to the military spokesman the General is to get 5 years in prison.
