Who's using ebay to buy things?
I never used it before so I need some instructions on how to use it.
What I should and should not do?
How should I pay?
How much taxes I'll have to pay? etc....

Don't buy things over 10K and things that must be handled carefully. There is a big chance for you to lose it while shipping without insuring. And you will have to pay for shipping if you want to claim warranty.
Always ready the sellers feedback before you buy.
Small items wont tax they are marked as gifts.
Big items may get taxes if they were inspected.

Adding to what chandima3010 already said... usually in eBay there are 3 types of feedback for a seller (as well as a buyer)...

    Positive
    Negative
    Neutral

A person's feedback is calculated with the above criteria...
However when we want to search for the comments users has posted, we cannot isolate only the negative feedback which is very disadvantageous! Lets say a person has 100,000 positive comments and 100 negative comments... it is going to be a nightmare to go through all 100,100 comments to find only the negative comments... + the maximum amount of comments you can see @ once is 200 :D So you get the point?

So where am i getting at?? There should be a way to isolate those negative comments, isn't it? An easier way?? Sure there is! This is where toolhaus.org comes in to play!

Simply enter the seller's name in toolhaus.org and it will show ONLY the negative comments!
Very useful but the site is occasionally down or blocked by eBay! :D
    Hope this helps! :)
The positive Feedback percentage is calculated based on the total number of positive and negative Feedback ratings for transactions that ended in the last 12 months, excluding repeat Feedback from the same member in the same week.
Note: This could mean that the number of ratings used for this calculation is different from the same number shown in the Recent Ratings table on the left.
    PositivesPositives + Negatives
    This member's 12 Month Feedback ratingsPositives: 19

    Negatives: 0

Without using a credit card you can pay for goods up to the price of 100 USD...
If you are going to buy something more than the price of 100 USD, you will need to have a confirmed credit card! :)

ebay supports Credit Cards through paypal accounts. It's safer. If you got cheated, you can appeal for the lost money. Believe me, I got refunded $50 once from a fraud seller.
small things. pendrives, memorycards, light weight items.

i have used ebay and i have 14 feedback score. if you have credit card and paypal you may buy small(in size) things. also about tax, most sellers mark items as gift and price as lower value. about me, i never payed taxes. and i recommend you to buy from ebay stores other than individual sellers. also you may many sellers from china/hk. their shipping time is nearly 1 week. us sellers take 2 weeks

Yes but confirming the credit card is a tedious process... you have to wait till you get your next month's bank statement. Paypal will charge 1.95 USD from your account which will show up in your monthly statement along with a "CODE" of their own...
Once you get the code, you have to use that to confirm your credit card!
Dont worry about the 1.95 USD, it will be added to back your paypal account! :)
