I saw a benchmark comparing the SP3 beta and SP2 (and Vista too, but it is too biased at XP imho). SP3 gave better results.

Vista is more stable compared to XP.

And with a hell lot of security aspects than in XP.

So for me... Vista is much more better than XP.

You can't really tell what is the best OS, since all the OSs have both pros and cons. So it depends on the user who uses it and the purpose he use it.
