yes they are.But they are not the gods you know.Religions do not have true gods.religions are corrupt mechanism and full of cons,fraudsters and cheaters.

අල්-කුර්ආනය
2-2 මෙය (අල්ලාහ්ගේ) ධර්ම ග්රන්ථය වේ. එහි කිසිදු සැකයක් නැත. (අල්ලාහ් කෙරෙහි) බිය බැතිකම ඇත්තාවු අයට යහමඟ පෙන්වන්නකි.
36-5. (මෙම අල්-කුර්ආනය) සර්ව බලධාරි අසමසම කරුණාන්විතයාණන්ගෙන් පහළ වූවකි.

18-54. අපි මෙම කුර්ආන්හී (දහම් පණිවිඩය) සියලු උපමාවන්ගෙන් ජනයාට සවිස්තර කළෙමු. එහෙත් මිනිසා (ස්වභාවයෙන්) වැඩි වශයෙන් විවාදශීලීය.
36-12. නියතවශයෙන් අපි මළවුනට පණ දෙන්නෙමු. තවද ඔවුන් ඉදිරිපත් කළ දෑද ඔවුන් හැර දමා ගිය සලකුණුද අපි ලියාගන්නෙමු. තවද සෑම දෙයක්ම ප්රකට ග්රන්ථයක සටහන් කරන්නෙමු.

Buddhism is not a religion Buddhism is a philosophy that explain every truth of our life. and it explain every truth of this world. but i m pretty sure that u dont understand and also you dont have brain to understand that type of philosophy.
apparently it is a philosophy , but i wonder why all sinhalese say BUDDAGAMA , where as , as you said its not a religion.
the next question is , its a philosophy then why the hell most of sinhalese are following extremism, hatred , etc... they can can follow any religion or worship any god, as they do in katharagama and in other places......
Its like all the muslim are not alike some are killing people some are doing all the crime in this world and doing exactly what says in the kuran for the sake of the god name. thats called blindness. we call mithyadushtiya. according to Buddhism. but some Muslim people are there live peace life with understanding.
but Buddhism is different cz it says all the good thing and do kind to people animal and how to live good life how to be a good human but all the Buddhist people are not follow them some people just Buddhist cz their parent Buddhist. that the reality in this world all people are not same everything change that the one of phylosaphy that u should understand about this life. to understand that you should have to get that knowledge u dont want to be a buddhist to understan what loard buddhas said. but you should have brain to understand that.
