How you contradict yourself! In the first post you admit that the earlier prophets did not follow Islam, thus were not muslim.
In the second post you state that allah made no mistakes, and mohammed was only finishing the tasks of ealier prophets.
What tasks, do tell?
If they were not muslim to begin with, what did they leave for mohammed to finish? NOTHING. Mohammed was 100% responsible for the introduction of Islam.

Why not send Mohommad way before, and the biggest question is when Allah sent all these 124000 of them he could not see the future that they would not do thier job properly?
