I am ashamed this is happening in my country. It is a situation that has to be nipped in the bud, now. We may disagree with what some one may say or believe in but, both, as a democracy and predominantly Buddhist country we should firmly reject violence in any form as a reaction. Let the lawmakers and the law deal with what is right and what is wrong. The security forces of the country have risen to new strengths in our war against terror and have justifiably gained a high standing in the eyes of the country, and indeed, of the world. In conjunction with its victories in the war it is of paramount importance that they support and safeguard the democratic and Buddhist values of the country.
