Today the state electronic media will try to cover up by saying that this act had been done by those who want to discredit the Government. The masses are apparently being reckoned as asses by dishing out news of this sort. Is this the penalty for having different views? Lasantha had been proved to be partial towards the UNP on many occasions but that doesn't mean he must be killed.
