Strangely enough, in that list on wikipedia you provided, I could only find 1 priest, 1 pastor, 1 scientist and 1 rabbi - the rest are poets, rappers, boxers, and people from all walks of life.

I bet you haven't even looked it up yourself in the link. I'm sure there are more than what is mentioned on wikipedia, but honestly? I think what's fact and what's in your mind about the statistics is very different. There are converts from every religion in the world, just because a few people became muslim doesn't mean anything, especially when there are plenty of people who converted from Islam to other religions.

Secondly why is Dilshan more likely to follow his mother? One would think in a mixed-marriage, Islam being the religion of great truth would influence the kids to choose Islam. Remember, Dilshan converted to Buddhism, which means he was Muslim before.
