simply coz the ppl of kandy have now shown that they are amongst the few ppl that actually want there to be a future for the country. Those who were for the govt are like the majority in our country today.. Swayed by the violence

success in war is very beneficial to us at the present time. But bein successfull in a war does not imply that whoever responsible has the skills to take the country forward for a better tomorrow. The intellect of the general public today is appalling and we can only hope that room they will come to realize that change is essential for grosug and stability. Also that the violence created by the was does not help the atmosphere between the plsl in the country..

Normally one who leads an Army for war can not govern a country.

Well actually no. I luv the idea of the war being over . But i am disgusted by the way the public have taken this to be a clear cut indication of who is a better leader for the nation. I wonder how many ppl have stopped to consider that encouraging violence in this manner will have a massively negative effect on the youth and also that it will affect the levels of crime and perhaps change the culture and values as we know it to be..

Yep thats what i was thinkin.. Generally the leader would be someone who can deliberate the outcomes of possible courses of action and decide on the best for the ppl. Whilest he who favours was would be in the position of being in charge of defence and perhaps provide valuable advice to the leader. Its the people who decide. And they must realize that they have the power to make a difference. Lets see for the sake of the country i hope that whoever is in power is a capable individual. Thats all :)

I think Better idea is Wait and watch what happened in the future . . . .

and other thing is if someone correctly analyze the polling result can get what is da truth . . . .
no point to talk without better analyze . . when we talk abt poll . . .

Gov get all votes from youth and new voters . . .
things can change in the future when peoples become mature . . .
