On Monday 25th May 2009, SAGT are holding a meeting with the European Parliamentary Candidate Jan Jananayam to discuss her election campaign. The future of Tamil politics lay in the hands of all students and it is vital that we all attend and show our support.

We have been protesting for more than two months in Westminster, yet our cries are still not being acknowledged. We must do all we can to make sure Jan is elected into the European Parliament to ensure our voice is heard!

Please try and attend the meeting to show our support and participate in the election campaign. We, as students must do everything we can to get her elected. Like many of us, Jan became sick and tired of waiting on others to represent the Tamils, and so she decided to do it herself. We must commend her courage to step up and speak up for the Tamils and so, we must help her in any way possible.

Jan's policies not only includes representation for the Tamils but also non-Tamils!

Please come along to the meeting and see what you part you can play in her election campaign. Flyers and posters will be avaliable.

We only got 3 or 4 groups but they are not acting right.
