Why there's no native apps for windows these days? there are bunch of PWA (Progressive web app) craps in Microsoft store.

• Even Microsoft itself moving towards web-based apps. Native Mail and Calendar app finna be a web app next year
• Windows 11 weather app is also PWA

I hate PWAs since they're memory hungry and depends on Microsoft edge.

is it hard to build windows native apps?
Can anyone explain this nonsense to me?
Aaand what happened to UWP (Universal Windows Platform) apps?
