Most reviews of Windows 7 have been positive. Beta testers and those who have installed the release candidate and/or RTM have experienced good performance and like most of the new features. The OS runs better on low-end hardware than its predecessor, Vista. However, reports have been emerging about one negative aspect of upgrading to Windows 7, especially when moving from XP: battery life.
