then its ok machan. if in abt 2km ..ask for a filed test from dialog..they come and check for signals .. practicality some places will have probs because of tress and buildings..so better to check

90% Sure you are not able to get it machan....

I'm living Colombo-5, And just 150m to tower, But when they are checking there is no signals . Even for the 4th Floor.

They mention the reson as
Reson - no Coverge becouse of trees.

But Not sure For You........ Just Check it .

i'm actually in battaramulla right now, super coverage i can see the tower from inside my house,
but gotta move to kandy..gotta know before i transfer cuz if not i could go for SLT

Its 2 different technologies and are not related to each other.
Wimax is basically WIFI (802.11) with wide area coverage.
3G is mobile phone connectivity.

Dialog DONT have WiMax..............they have CHA MAX...........!! Hik hikz..........!!
