    machan use da runonce key in registry editor...but dont try do anything there without knowing wat u r doing....ant tell me if u need any help....

    runonce is not actually total startup folder it runs only once @ 1st startup.

    here some reg keyz which containz startup itemz

    HKLM
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]

    HCU
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]

    common startup folder
    SIMPLY POINT THE STARTUP FOLDER ON THE START MENU...

    but the easiest way is use da command called "msconfig" :)

    HKLM
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run]

    HKCU
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run]

    common startup folder
    SIMPLY POINT THE STARTUP FOLDER ON THE START MENU...

    but other than that

    HKLM
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\RunOnce]

    HKCU
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\RunOnce]

    HKLM [Defaults must exist]
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\winlogon ---> wininit value [default :- X:\windows\system32\wininit.exe]
    ---> shell key [default :- explorer.exe]
    viruses can harm these keys and put their exe paths here to execute un-noticed while these values are also here
