Anyone tried installing Windows 7 RC edition???
I installed in one laptop...looks cool and better than Vista...

I also use windows 7, seems to be good than vista+sp2
1 . Search is much faster than vista (coz good indexing techniques)
2 . Fast switching (log in, log-off)
3 . Good sinhala support
4 . Most of the common drivers with it (other drivers easily find itself using internet)
5 . New features (jump Lists,fast usb ditection , etc ...)
BUT still i don't vote for Windows 7 .......

I also Installled the RTM. It's better than vista. Also hard disk usage is not higher as vista.

well, as I read this review (http://www.cracked.com/blog/using-windows-7-may-lead-to-murder) and it says,

'In general I was highly disappointed with Windows 7. Although performance has improved since Vista, major features appear to have been lopped off the OS to meet these performance marks. Additionally, the hardware incompatibility and stability issues that have long plagued Microsoft OS releases appear to back in full force. Unless you’re one of those deviants who always has to have the latest OS, or have very specialized faxing needs, I’d strongly recommend avoiding Windows 7 until at least the first Service Pack is released.'

So, I'd stick to XP for the time being.
