Dude. I'm not from Microsoft or Bell Labs. But seriously your business knowledge is so poor. Windows *TM is a commercial software and Linux is a freely distributed software. Thats why windows is called as proprietary software. Remember you can try always before you buy.

About my virus song. I don't like to teach you what a virus is. But simply its another type program with a bad purpose (malicious). So if your root you'll tend to execute it without hesitation. you are the center of your own destruction (thats called user power). And remember virus guard is another software to catch such bad codes.

Please don't misunderstand me but has Linux correctly defined the term "user". User can be computer oriented or non-computer oriented person. Some wants authority some don't. So its interface should be for both. But Linux is far away from the adaptation of the concept of experience inhabitation.

Yeah windows is like a game it needs more memory more advanced hardware. If not we'll be using the same crappy PC still. Revolutions of computer based hardware has happened in parrel with the development of the software.No need for bigger examples. look at the graphic cards today, now latest ones are having memory more than 2GB. Because to support bigger games software. If you put that to linux point of view. you'll never create any games bigger than the ones currently in there.

Unix is the other best OS.It shares its versatility with others and develop its base further. Remember Linux is Unix like OS. Whatever you create falls under these 2 categories (Windows or Unix).

At last if you are a SE (software Engineer) what would you do if suddenly all started developing FOSS. Or what if your Licensee is made GPL and freely distributed. You will feel the same pain as millions of developers in the world. So free stuff are good at a extent. & also remember linux comes without a warranty. You are on your own. No support at all (support is provided by the community). But just this If I'm a Hacker will you download the distortion I created and install it in your valuable system??

my i guess is windows is the best it easy to use and many softwares are compatible even games i have never seen a game designed fro linux all the cd covers have designed for windows and also most of the people use windows than linux
