Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2006
is the integrated edge security gateway that helps protect
IT environments from Internet-based threats while providing
users with fast and secure remote access to applications and
data. Use these Hands-On Labs to learn more about deploying
ISA Server 2006 for Secure Remote Access, Branch Office
Security, and Internet Access Protection.

The ISA Server 2006 lab uses 5 non-persistent virtual machines.
The virtual machines run Windows Server 2003 SP1, and contain
the following products:

1. ISA Server 2006 Standard Edition (RTM)
2. ISA Server 2006 Enterprise Edition (RTM)
3. SharePoint Services 2.0
4. Exchange Server 2003 SP2
5. Outlook 2003

This lab contains the following nine modules. You can
complete each of these lab modules independent of
the other modules.

Module A: Introduction to ISA Server
Module B: Configuring Outbound Internet Access
Module C: Publishing Web Servers and Other Servers
Module D: Publishing an Exchange Server
Module E: Enabling VPN Connections
Module F: ISA Server 2006 as Branch Office Gateway
Module G: Enterprise Management of ISA Servers
Module H: Configuring Load Balancing
Module I: Using Monitoring, alerting and Logging

System Requirements Supported Operating Systems:
Windows Server 2003; Windows Vista; Windows XP
Host Computer Requirements
Hardware Requirements:
• 1 GB RAM (4 GB recommended)
• 3 GB available hard disk space
• 2.0 Ghz+ CPU

=====Note 1=====
The virtual machines do not contain the latest security updates.
Do not connect the virtual machines to another network,
before you have installed all the applicable security updates

=====Instructions=====
To install the ISA Server 2006 lab on the host computer:

   ***Run the Install-ISA2006-Lab.vbe script. This script will****

• Unpack the virtual machines to an installation folder.
• Register the virtual machines with Virtual PC or Virtual Server.
• For Virtual PC, it also configures additional options (in Options.xml).
• On the desktop, it creates a shortcut to the installation folder.
• Install a lab wallpaper on the host computer (optional).

=====Start the Lab=====
Double-click the "Open ISA 2006 Lab Folder" shortcut on the
desktop to open the C:ISA2006Lab folder, and then double-click
the "ISA2006-lab (start page).hta" file,
or double-click the Start <machine>.vbs" scripts.

=====Note 2===== 
Depending on your time zone, the first time you start the lab virtual machines,
you may see a message that one of the virtual hard disks appears to have been
modified. You can ignore this message.

****IF the virtual Lab systems (virtual machines) refused to work 
due to expiration of trial period, just date-back your host machine
to January 2006, BEFORE RUNNING IT AGAIN!! It still works on
my System without dating back my machine. It should work, 
since this lab is from microsoft itself.
